MAKING A GIFT TO THE
HIGHLAND
DROVER PROJECT
Every contribution matters to us. We greatly appreciate your
interest in our project and your generosity in ensuring that the
traditions of the Highland drovers are remembered and celebrated.
There are many creative ways to give and to have your gift
recognised.
A gift from the past
Perhaps you have important archive material in the form of
photographs, documents, letters, stories or songs relating to
Scotland’s livestock industry that you would like to share with
us. With your permission, this material can be accessed and
enjoyed by others.
A gift for the future
You can help us by being part of a network of supporters around
the globe. And of course, your financial support is invaluable to
us. Without it, we will be unable to achieve the fulfilment of a
project that we believe is of vital importance to the cultural
heritage of the
Highlands and Islands.
A Donation Form is set out below. You could copy and print it out
and snail mail it to us with whatever contribution you wish to
make now. Or, you could copy and attach it to an email to us
(address below), confirming direct payment to our bank, or
pledging your contribution for later collection (we’ll get back in
touch with you when the funding is complete and we need the
cheque!). Either way, we’ll be very grateful to you, and enrol you
as an Honorary Member of the Society.
In addition to the methods of personal donating outlined below,
you might like to consider making the Highland Drover Project your
charity of the year or sponsoring a particular element of
the project. You could even host an event celebrating
Highland
culture, music and song!
For UK taxpayers, GiftAid is one of the most simple
and effective ways of giving to charity. When you use GiftAid,
the Highland Drover Project will receive an extra 28p on every
pound you donate. And if you are a higher rate taxpayer, you are
eligible to reclaim tax on your donation when you fill in your tax
return. Please remember to tick the box on the form if you want
to GiftAid your donation.
Every gift we receive will be recorded and acknowledged. The
names of individuals and organisations that contribute £5,000 or
more will be inscribed on the base of the commemorative sculpture.
Those who donate £10,000 or more will be given special recognition
within the project.
Thank You!
